As a life long learner, I have always felt it was important to give something back. I have always loved teaching and have always made it a part of my work life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aside from my work in games, sound\/music production, I have been actively teaching music to students age six to seniors for many years. I currently focus on guitar, saxophone and music theory. I also teach bass guitar and ukelele. My experience teaching music has also at times included, coaching student ensembles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For four years, between 2019 and 2023, I was the Senior Game Audio Instructor at Vancouver Film School. In this role I was responsible for the game audio cirriculum, teaching game audio classes in game audio concepts\/best practices, Wwise, Unity, Unreal as well as game team production process and mentoring for 200+ students through their final team game audio projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
